Vinyasa & Vinyl Cupping edition

This 60 minute slightly heated vinyasa flow, will be brisk at times and slow and strong at others. The entire class will be focused on detoxing the body and will have a curated playlist of hand selected music. Post yoga class Cupping Therapy will be offered on your mats, by the talented Tracy Cedrone, owner of Release your Stress Massage Therapy & Life coaching. Cupping relieves muscle tension, improves circulation, and reduces inflammation. The pressure that the cups create draw blood to the affected area, increasing blood flow. These are not bruises (bruises are causes by blunt force trauma which damages blood vessels). Cupping marks are caused by a congestion of blood flow. This also draws out toxins which the lymph and circulatory system then carry away. She will be applying cups to targeted areas of tension while you just lay on your yoga mat and relax  When first applied, the cups may feel a little tight but soon you will feel warmth and tension relief. I will also be showing another technique where I first apply massage oil then use a different type of cup that I move around to help loosen a tight area. Tracy will be working on multiple people at a time. Not your turn? Pull an angel card or ask the pendulum a question with Stephanie your yoga instructor, and intuitive guide for the day. What to relax during cupping or intuitive guidance? BYOB, this event is BYOB friendly! Sign up in advance, this class will be capped.

A little about Tracy Cedrone

Tracy Cedrone graduated from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy and have been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2010. She is Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (BCTMB) and is a Professional Member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA). Tracy believes each session is a new opportunity to connect and revitalize. She is trained in several modalities and often incorporate many techniques during treatments. Although Tracy is known for her Deep Tissue work, her approach is slow and intuitive. She "listens" to each body to locate areas of tension and stress. Tracy believes "deep" restorative work doesn't necessarily need to be physically painful as many believe when they hear "deep tissue". As a Master Level Reiki Practitioner, Tracy naturally brings Reiki energy to each session. She truly believes this aids in stress reduction, relaxation, and promotes healing. Receiving bodywork on a regular basis is so important to body, mind, and spirit.
